Zechariah Chapter 2

Measurement of Jerusalem

(In the Tanach this chapter starts with verse 18 in chapter one)

2:1 Then I lifted up my eyes again, and looked, and saw a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2:2 Then said I, Where are you going? And he said to me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width, and what is its length.
2:3 Just then the angelמַלְאָךְ‎

2:4 And said to him, Run, speak to this young man over there, saying, Jerusalem shall be settled beyond its walls for the multitude of men and livestock in it:

2:7 Escape, O Zion, that lives with the daughter of Babylon.
2:8 Because so says YAHWEH יְהֹוָה‎
