Ezra Chapter 1

Cyrus King of Persia’s proclamation to rebuild Temple

1:1 NOW in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also in writing, saying,
1:2 So says Cyrus king of Persia, YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

all around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with property, and with animals, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.

1:7 Also Cyrus the king brought out the vessels of the house of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

1:8 Even those Cyrus king of Persia brought forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them to Sheshbazzar, the ruler of Judah.
1:9 And this is the number of them: thirty platters of gold, a thousand platters of silver,  twenty
nine knives,
1:10 Thirty basins of gold, silver basins of a second sort four hundred and ten,
a thousand other vessels .
1:11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. Sheshbazzar made to go up all with them of the exiled were caused to go up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
