Isaiah Chapter 65

A rebellious people

65:1 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, See me, see me, to a nation that was not called by My Name.
65:2 I have spread out My hands all the day to a rebellious people, that walks in a way that wasn’t good, after their own thoughts;
65:3 A people that provokes me to anger continually to my face; that sacrifices in gardens, and burns incense upon altars of brick;
65:4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
65:5 Which say, Stand by yourself, don’t come near me; because I’m holier than youקְדַשְׁתִּיךָ

. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all the day.
65:6 See, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense to their bosom,
65:7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, says YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

65:9 And I will bring forth an offspring out of Jacobיַעֲקֹב

65:10 The Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.

Judgement on the wicked


65:11 But ya’ll are those that forsake YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

65:12 So will I number you to the sword, and ya’ll shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ya’ll didn’t answer; when I spoke, ya’ll didn’t hear; but did evil before my eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
65:13 So says Adonaiהָאָדוֹן
 the Lord, Pluralis majestatis taken as singular) is the possessive form of adon (“Lord”), along with the first-person singular pronoun enclitic. As with Elohim, Adonai’s grammatical form is usually explained as a plural of majesty. For more info click here

65:14 Look, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ya’ll shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
65:15 And ya’ll shall leave your name for a curse to My chosen: for Adonaiהָאָדוֹן

shall slay you, and call his servants by another name:
65:16 That he who blesses himself on the earth shall bless himself by the Elohimבֵּאלֹהֵי

Blessed state of new Jerusalem


65:17 Because, see, I create new heavensשָׁמַיִם

and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, or come to mind.
65:18 But ya’ll
be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create: for, look, I create Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלַם

65:20 No more will babies die in infancy, or an old man that hasn’t filled his days: because the child shall die one hundred years old; but the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of My people, and My chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
65:23 They shall not labor in vain, or bring forth for trouble; for they are the offspring of the blessed of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the calf: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt or destroy in all My Holyקָדְשִׁי
