34:3 Ya’ll eat the choicest meat, and ya’ll clothe yourselves with the wool, ya’ll slaughter the healthiest: but ya’ll don’t feed the flock.
34:4 Ya’ll haven’t strengthened the weak, ya’ll haven’t healed the sick, ya’ll haven’t bandaged the broken, or have ya’ll brought back the banished, or searched for those who wandered away; but with force and with cruelty ya’ll have ruled them.
34:5 So they were scattered, for lack of a shepherdרָעָה

And cause the evil animals to cease from the land. If the prophet is still using the parable of the sheep, then this phrase stands for the nations who despoiled Israel. However, verse 28 speaks separately of the nations and wild animals; moreover this phrase is taken from Lev. 26:6 which surely means wild animals. Therefore, this is not a parable , but a promise that wild animals will present no danger in Messianic time.
