Isaiah Chapter 32

The government of justice

32:1 See, a king will rule for the sake of righteousness, and rulers will rule in judgment.
32:2 Man will be like a hiding place from the wind, and a cover from a downpour, like rivers of water in a dry place, like the shade of a large rock in a thirsty land.
32:3 And the eyes of seeing will no longer be closed and the ears of those that hear will listen.
32:4 The heart of the impulsive will have good judgement, and the tongue of the stammerers will hurry to speak plainly (or elegantly).
32:5 The foolish person will be no more called noble, or the miser said to be generous.
32:6 Because the foolish man will speak absurdity, and his heart plans wickedness, to act with hypocrisy, and to speak falsehood against YAHWEH יְהֹוָה
Hebrew Yəhōwā, one vocalization of the Tetragrammaton יהוה‎ (YHWH), the proper name of the God of Israel in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. It is considered one of the seven names of God in Judaism and a form of God’s name in Christianity. Covenant making covenant keeping GOD. For more info click here

of the hungry, and to decrease the drink of the thirsty.
32:7 As for the miser, his implements  are evil* He cheats his customers by using false weights and measures (Radak). – From the Artscroll English Tanach: he plans wickedness to destroy the poor with lying words and when the oppressed speaks justly.
32:8 But a generous man plans generous acts; and he stand (or be established) for generous acts.

A prophecy of desolation

32:9 Y’all arrogant women, rise up and  hear my voice, y’all confident daughters; listen to my speech!
32:10 Days upon years will y’all be afraid when the vintage is finished the harvest doesn’t come in.
32:11 Be afraid, y’all arrogant women strip and
bare yourselves , and put [sackcloth] on your loins.
32:12 Beat your breasts in mourning for the pleasant fields, over the fruitful vine.
32:13 Over the land of my people thistles and weeds will sprout over all the houses of joy in the joyous city:
32:14 Because the palace will be abandoned; the multitude of the city will be forsaken; the forts and towers will become caves forever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

32:18 And my people will live in a peaceful habitation, and in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
32:19 Hail will come down on the forest; and the city will extend down to the valley.
32:20 Y’all
are so blessed to sow beside the streams, sending the ox and the donkey to roam freely.
