The general service of God in sincerity

66:1 So says YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

66:2 Because My hand
has made all those things, and all those things have been, says  YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

: but to this man will I look, even to [him that] is poor and of a lame spiritרוּחַ

66:3 He that kills an ox is like if he killed a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offered an offering, like if he offered pig’s blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears on them; because when I called, no one answered; when I spoke, they didn’t hear: instead they did evil in My sight, and chose that in which I wasn’t pleased.

The faithful comforted


66:5 Hear the word of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

, ya’ll that tremble at his word; Your brothers that hated you, that threw you out for My Name’s sake, said, Let YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
66:6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

66:7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she had delivered a man child.
66:8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? because as soon as Zionצִיּוֹן

66:10 Rejoice ya’ll with Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלַם

66:11 That ya’ll may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ya’ll may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

66:15 For, see, YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
66:16 Because by fire and by his sword will YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the middle, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

66:23 And it shall so happen, that from one month to another, and from one Sabbathשַׁבָּת

66:24 And they shall go out, and look upon the dead bodies of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring to all flesh.
