Restoration of Israel

14:1 Because YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

14:2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
14:3 And it shall so happen in the day that YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

shall give you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear, and from the hard bondage where you were made to serve,

Proverb against Babylon


14:4 That you will take up this proverb (or parable)  against the king of Babylon (Iraq), and say, How has the oppressor ended! the golden city ended!

has broken the staff (or rod or shaft or branch) of the wicked, and the sceptre (or scepter in American English) is a staff or wand held in the hand by a ruling monarch as an item of royal or imperial insignia, signifying sovereign, of the rulers.
14:6 He who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hinders.
14:7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break out into singing.
14:8 Yes, the fir trees rejoice at you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since you are laid down, no feller has come up against us.
14:9 Sheolשְׁאוֹל ‎

from beneath is moved for you to meet you at your coming: it stirs up the dead for you, even all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
14:10 All they shall speak and say to you, have you also become weak as we? have you become like to us?
14:11 Your pride is brought down to Sheolשְׁאוֹל ‎

14:12 How are you fallen from heavens, O shining oneהֵילֵל

14:20 You shall not be united with them in the gravel, because you have destroyed your land, and killed your people: the offspring of evildoers shall never be proclaimed.
14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their forefathers; that they don’t stand up , or possess the land, or fill the face of the world with cities.
14:22 Because I will stand up against them, says YAHWEH יְהֹוָה
