The fast that God accepts

58:1 Shout aloud, don’t hold back, lift up your voice like a shofarכַּשּׁוֹפָר

58:4 Look, ya’ll fast for strife and debate, and to strike with the fist of wickedness: ya’ll shall not fast like ya’ll do today, to make your voice to be heard on high.
58:5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soulנַפְשׁוֹ

58:6 Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ya’ll break every yoke?
58:7 Isn’t it to divide your bread with the hungry, and that you bring the poor that are homeless into your house? when you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you don’t hide yourself from your own kin?
58:8 Then shall your light break out like the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה
