Israel called to repentance


14:1 O Israel, return to YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

14:2 Take with you words, and turn to YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

: say to Him, Take away all iniquity, and receive [us] well: so will we repay with the calves of our lips.
14:3 Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride on horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, y’all are our gods: Because in you the fatherless finds mercy.
14:4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: because My anger has turned away from him.
14:5 I will be like the dew to Israel: he shall grow like the lily, and put out his roots like Lebanon.
14:6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be like the olive tree, and his smell like [is] as Lebanon.
14:7 They who live under his shadow shall return; they shall revive like the grain, and grow like the vine: the scent of it [will] be like the wine of Lebanon.
14:8 Ephraimאֶפְרַיִם
(/ˈiːfriːəm/;ʾEp̄rayīm, in pausa: אֶפְרָיִם‎ ʾEp̄rāyīm). The Book of Genesis related the name “Ephraim” to the Hebrew root פָּרָה (pārā), meaning “to be fruitful”. This referring to Joseph’s ability to produce children, specifically while in Egypt (termed by the Torah as the land of his affliction). The name Ephraim can therefore be translated as “I will be fruitful”, with the prefix of aleph (א‎) indicating the first person, singular, future tense For more info click here
shall say, What do I have to do with idols anymore? I have heard [him], and saw him: I [am] like a green cypress tree. Your fruit comes from Me .
14:9 Whoever [is] wise let him understand these things; [Whoever] is discerning let him know them? Because the ways of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

[are] right, and the righteous shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall stumble in them.
