A song of confidence in God


26:1 On that day this song shall be sung in the land of Judahיְהוּדָה

26:5 For he has humbled those that live on high [in] the exalted city, He has lowered it; He has lowered it, He lowered to the ground; He brought it to the dust.
26:6 It is trampled underfoot, the feet of the poor, the steps of the needy.
26:7 The way of the righteous is uprightness: O upright one, You make the path of the righteous level.
26:8 Yes, on the path of Your judgments, O YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

is in me will I seek You out: for when Your judgments are against the land, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
26:10 Although mercy is shown to the wicked,  he doesn’t learn righteousness: He acts with corruptness in the land of uprightness, and doesn’t see the magnificence of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

26:18 We were pregnant and ready to give birth. But we could only give birth to wind; Salvation יְשׁוּעָה

26:19 May Your dead be restored to life, together with my dead body shall they rise. Awake and sing, ya’ll that rest in ashes: because your dew is* Just as Your dew revives plants, so You will send a “dew” that will revive the dead (Radak) – From the Artscroll English Tanach like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall give birth to those long dead.

A warning to wait for His coming


26:20 Come, my people, go into your rooms, and close your doors behind you: hide yourselves for a little while, until the rage is over.
