Isaiah Chapter 24

Judgements on the land

24:1 See, YAHWEH יְהֹוָה‎

24:2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest כַּכֹּהֵן

24:3 The land shall be completely emptied, and completely plundered: because YAHWEH יְהֹוָה‎

24:4 The land mourns [and] withers, the world languishes [and] withers, the exalted people of the land grow weak.
24:5 The land will be polluted because of its inhabitants; because they have transgressed the Torah תּוֹרָה‎

24:6 So the has curse devoured the land, and those that live in it are desolate: So the inhabitants of the land are burned, and few men are left.
24:7 The new wine dries up, the vine loses strength, all everyone that was happy sighs.
24:8 Festivity with tabrets תֻּפִּים

24:9 They don’t drink wine with singing; strong drink has become bitter to those that drink it.
24:10 The city of chaos is broken down: every house is locked up, that no one can come in.
24:11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all happiness is has ended, the gladness of the land has been banished.
24:12 In the city desolation has remained, and the gate is battered in ruin.
24:13 Because it shall be in the middle of the land among the nations, like [after] an olive tree is beaten* Few will remain in the land, as few as the remaining olives or grapes after the harvest – From the Artscroll English Tanach, and like the picking of grapes when the harvest is over.
24:14 They shall lift up their voices, they shall sing of the greatness of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה‎

In Hebrew grammatical construct is a way of connecting noun-noun pairs. In english, we use “of”, but in Hebrew there are quite a few ways of doing this. של is usually used in place of “of” in Hebrew, but in this case, we modify the first word, with the suffix “ey” (which is what we do for plural words, which God’s name is in Torah), i.e. God of Abraham becomes Elohei Avraham. also can be of my – See Elohim for more info click here of Israel .
24:16 From the edge of the earth have we heard songs, “glory to the righteous”. But I say, “My lot is to waste away, my lot is to waste away”, Woe is me! the treacherous have dealt with treachery;  with the treachery of the treacherous have they dealt treacherously.
24:17 Fear, and the hole, and the trap, are waiting for you , O inhabitant of the land.
24:18 And it shall so happen, that whoever escapes from the sound of the fear shall fall into the pit; and whoever climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the trap: because the windows are opened from above , and the foundations of the earth shall shake.
24:19 Broken, broken is the land, crumbled, crumbled is the land, trembling, trembling is the land.
24:20 The land shall stagger like a drunkard, and sway like a shack; and its sins shall be heavy on it; and it shall fall, never rise again.
24:21 And it shall so happen on that day, that YAHWEH יְהֹוָה‎
