Israel threatened for inclining to Egypt


30:1 Woe, O wayward sons, says YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

30:5 They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be a help, but a shame, and also a reproach.
30:6 The burden of the animals of Nekeb: into the land of trouble and anguish, From where come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches on the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures on the bunches of camels, to a people that will not profit them.
30:7 Because the Egyptians will help in vain, and to no purpose: So have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.
30:8 Now go, write it before them in a tablet, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever:
30:9 So that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the Torahתּוֹרָה‎

of Israel, Because y’all despise this word, and trust in extortion and perverseness, and lean on it:
30:13 So this iniquity will be to you like a break in a high wall, bulging out, and about to collapse, whose destruction comes suddenly in an instant.
30:14 And he will break it like the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he will not pity: so that among its fragments not a sherd is found, or with which to take water out of a cistern.
30:15 Because so says Adonaiהָאָדוֹן

30:17 One thousand [will escape] at the threat of one; at the threat of five y’all escape: till y’all are left like a flagpole on the top of a mountain, and like an banner on a hill.

30:23 Then will he give the rain to your seed, that you will sow the ground; and bread of the produce of the earth, and it will fatten and strong: on that day will your cattle feed in large pastures.
30:24 Also the oxen and the young donkeys that plow your fields will eat the finest and best feed.
30:25 On the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall, there will be on every high mountain, and on every high hill, rivers [and] streams of waters .
30:26 Then the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven fold, like the light of seven days, on the day that YAHWEH יְהֹוָה
