Exodus Chapter 13

Keeping of the Passover

13:1 And YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

spoke to Moses, saying,
13:2 Sanctify to me all the firstborn, what ever opened the womb among the children of Israel, [both] of man and of beast it [is] mine.
13:3 And Moses said to the people, Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage ; for by strength of hand YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

brought you out from this [place] there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
13:4 This day came you out in the month Abib.
13:5 And it shall be when YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

shall bring ya’ll into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware to your fathers to give ya’ll , a land flowing with milk and honey, that you will keep this service in this month.
13:6 Seven days you will eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day [shall be] a feast to YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

13:7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days ; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with ya’ll , neither shall there be leaven seen with ya’ll in all your quarters.
13:8 And you will show your son in that day, saying, [This is done] because of that [which] YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

13:9 And it shall be for a sign to ya’ll upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

‘S law may be in your mouth for with a strong hand has YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

13:10 You will therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.
13:11 And it shall be when YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

13:12 That you will set apart to YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

all that opened the matrix, and every firstling that comes of a beast which you have ; the males [shall be] YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

13:13 And every firstling of an ass you will redeem with a lamb ; and if you will not redeem it, then you will break his neck and all the firstborn of man among your children will you redeem.
13:14 And it shall be when your son asks ya’ll in time to come, saying, What [is] this ? that you will say to him, By strength of hand YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

13:15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

13:16 And it shall be for a token upon your hand, and for frontlets between your eyes for by strength of hand YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

The exodus begun


13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not [through] the way of the land of the Philistines, although that [was] near ; for God said, Unless perhaps the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt
13:18 But God led the people about, [through] the way of the wilderness of the Red sea and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.
13:19 And Moses took the bones of JosephHebrew Yosef (יוֹסֵף‎)Meaning: Jehovah shall add, God will add, taken away or praise, fame taken away.For more info click here with him for he had straightly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and you shall carry up my bones away for this reason with you.
13:20 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.

The pillar of smoke and also of fire


13:21 And YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way ; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light ; to go by day and night
13:22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, [from] before the people.
