19:1 IN the third month, when the sons of Israel were gone out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they [to] the wildernessמִדְבָּר

19:5 So now, if y’all will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then y’all shall be a peculiar treasure to me above all people because all the earth [is] mine
19:6 And y’all shall be to me a kingdom of priestsכֹּהֲנִים

will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
19:12 And you will set bounds to the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, [that y’all don’t] go up to the mount, or touch the border of it whomever touches the mount shall be surely put to death
19:13 There shall not a hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether [it be] beast or man, it shall not live when the shofarשׁוֹפָר

19:15 And he said to the people, Be ready against the third day don’t come at [your] wives.
19:16 And it so happened on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mount, and the voice of the shofarשׁוֹפָר

exceeding loud ; so that all the people that [was] in the camp trembled.

19:18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

God answers Moses from the mount
