Exodus Chapter 20

20:1 AND Elohimאֱלֹהִים
romanized: ʾĔlōhīm: [(ʔ)eloˈ(h)im]), the plural of אֱלוֹהַּ‎ (ʾĔlōah), is a Hebrew word meaning “gods”. Although the word is plural, in the Hebrew Bible it most often takes singular verbal or pronominal agreement and refers to a single deity particularly the God of Israel In other verses it refers to the singular gods of other nations or to deities in the plural A name for GOD — God The Creator
spoke all these words, saying,

20:2 I [am] YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

20:6 And showing mercy to thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Remember the Sabbath


20:8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
20:9 Six days shall you labor, and do all your work
20:10 But the seventh day [is] the Sabbath of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

20:12 Honor your father and your mother that your days may be long upon the land which YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

20:14 You shall not commit adultery.
20:15 You shall not steal.

20:17 You shall not yearn to possess Your neighbor’s house, you shall not yearn to possess your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] your neighbor’s.
20:18 And all the people saw the thunder, and the lightning, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking and when the people saw [it], they fell back, and stood far off.

20:23 You shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall you make to you gods of gold.

The altar


20:24 An altar of earth you shall make to Me, and shall sacrifice thereon your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices of well-being, your sheep, and your oxen in all places where I record my name I will come to you, and I will bless you.
20:25 And if you will make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone for if you lift up your tool upon it, you have profaned them.
20:26 Neither shall you go up by steps to My altar, that your nakedness be not exposed upon it.
