33:1 AND YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

33:2 And I will send an angel before y’all ; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite
33:3 To a land flowing with milk and honey for I will not go up in the midst of y’all ; for you [are] a stiff-necked people unless I consume y’all on the way.
33:4 And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned and no man did put on him his ornaments.

, Say to the sons of Israel, You [are] a stiff-necked people I will come up to the middle of y’all in a moment, and consume y’all so now put off your ornaments from y’all , that I may know what to do to y’all .
33:6 And the sons of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.

took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it so happened, [that] every one which sought YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

33:8 And it so happened, when Mosesמשה

33:10 And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand [at] the tabernacle door and all the people got up and worshiped, each man [in] his tent door.

, See, you say to me, Bring up this people and you haven’t let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, I know y’all by name, and you have also found grace in my sight.
33:13 So now, please , if I have found grace in your sight, show me now your way, that I may know y’all , that I may find grace in your sight and consider that this nation [is] your people.
33:14 And he said, My presence shall go [with y’all ], and I will give y’all rest.
33:15 And he said to him, If your presence go not [with me], don’t carry us up for this reason.
33:16 For in it shall it be known here that I and your people have found grace in your sight ? [is it] not in that you go with us? so shall we be separated, I and your people, from all the people that [are] on the face of the earth.

33:18 And he said, I implore y’all , show me your glory.
33:19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before y’all , and I will proclaim the name of YAHWEH יְהֹוָה

33:20 And he said, You can’t see my face for there shall no man see me, and live.

said, See, [there is] a place by me, and you will stand on a rock
33:22 And it shall so happen, while my glory passes by, that I will put y’all in a clift of the rock, and will cover y’all with my hand while I pass by
33:23 And I will take away my hand, and you will see my back parts but my face shall not be seen.
