30:32 I will pass among all your flock today, taking from there all the speckled and spotted sheep, and all the brown sheep among the lambs, and the spotted and speckled among the goats and [these] shall be my wages.
30:33 So shall my righteousness testify for me in time to come. When you shall come about my wages before your face everyone that [is] not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the lambs, that shall be counted stolen with me.
30:34 And Laban said, Yes, let it be as to you speak.
30:35 And he removed that day the he lambs that were striped and spotted, and all the goats that were speckled and spotted, [and] everyone that had [some] white in it, and all the black among the lambs, and gave [them] to the hands of his sons.
30:36 And he put three days’ journey between himself and Jacobיַעֲקֹב

took himself white rods of fresh [tree], and the almond and plane tree; and peeled white stripes in them, and made the white appear on the rods.

30:38 And he set the rods which he had peeled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they were in heat when they came to drink.
30:39 And the flocks bore striped, speckled, and spotted [offspring].

separated the lambs, and he set the faces of the flock toward the striped, and every black one in the flocks of Laban. And he put his own droves by themselves, and didn’t put them with Laban’s flock.
