1:12 How can I myself alone bear your pressure, and your burden, and your quarrels?
1:13 Provide yourselves wise men, and understanding men, and well known among your tribes, and I will appoint them rulers over you.
1:14 And y’all answered me, and said, The thing that you have spoken
to do [is] good.
1:15 So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and well known men, and appointed them rulers over you, leaders over thousands, and leaders over hundreds, and leaders over fifties, and leaders over tens, and officers among your tribes.
1:16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear [the causes] between your brothers, and judge righteously between [each] man and his brother, and the stranger [that is] with him.
1:17 Y’all shall not show favoritism in judgment ; [but] y’all shall hear the small as well as the great ; y’all shall not be afraid because of the face of man ; for the judgment [is] Elohimאֱלֹהִים
